Ways that you can improve your flexibility is by doing some stretching before and after your workouts or whenever you do any physical activity. It is important to stretch whenever you're going to work out or do sports because when you stretch your loosening up your muscles and firing them up along with your heart rate to let your body know that it will be working out.

If you have trouble stretching any muscles then try to stretch at least for 5 seconds so that your joints and your body or the muscle group will be more accustomed to start learning and developing how to naturally stretch that certain specific muscle.

If you practice stretching daily then you will be more flexible on the thighs, knees, and ankles. Hm…. What do these three muscle groups do? These three muscle groups contribute to how high a person is able to jump. So now you know that it is important to stretch and if you do not believe that before then you do.

Feed Yourself The Right Diet

Diet is an important part of the body and the for the human muscle group especially. You may not know this, but having a great diet and feeding your body with the right nutrients that it needs can also help to increase your vertical greatly. Have you ever noticed how professional athletes have the body so ripped and toned? Why do you think that they are able to achieve a body like this? Because they eat right and they know what to feed their bodies.

If you really want to increase your vertical and if you are so desperate to do that, then you will have to change your diet and that also means that you will have to stop eating certain foods. If you drink sodas or anything that has sugar in it then you need to stop drinking it right now.

Nutrition plays especially an important role when it comes to the muscles. When you work out your body, the muscle fibers are in need of nutrients and minerals. When you give your body the right nutrients and minerals that it needs then it will become stronger and bigger. This is what especially bodybuilders excel at, because they know what foods to eat and which ones to avoid. Why do you think that they are all huge in size?


Strengthen The Abs

So how does working out the abs how to increase a persons vertical? Well because, the abs are used in every movement of the body. When you walk, when you run, when you jog, every action that you do with somebody involves abs. When you're going for a jump, then you use the arms and swing them for momentum. The energy from the arms travels through the abs and then to the legs. The legs is what generates force to propel you off of the ground. So if you have stronger abs they will be able to save energy that is being transferred to the legs. You can do exercises like the sits up, or exercises like crunches because they all help the abs and strengthen them.

You can also try doing some weight exercises on the abs as well. You can use a medicine ball that weighs 10 pounds and hold it while doing some sit ups or crunches.


The Toes Are An Important Muscle

The toes is what propels you off the ground when you're going for a stride run or jumping to take off the ground. So this is why it is important that you work at toes as well. When you're able to strengthen the toes then you will really see some results in your vertical and watch it increase so high. The toes may be the lost and the forgotten muscle that people are supposed to work out. But I wonder why some people ignore the toes as a muscle group when it is clearly the most group they should be focusing on heavily. If you have strong toes then you'll be able to jump higher and if you do not have strong toes, then you need to work out toes to strengthen them.

You can do exercises like the calf raises because of calf raises in a way use the toes for balance when you are working out the calves. You can do calf raises with weights or just use your own body weight. Be sure that you always let your muscles rest the day after that you work out so that you can let your muscles rest and watch them increase in size and in strength as well so what are you waiting for?
